Kiri Cormack is a 25 year old singer-songwriter from Boston, MA currently living in Nashville, TN. After graduating with her Master's in Special Education from Manhattan College, she decided to take a leap of faith and pursue the music career that she had always dreamed of.
Kiri's songwriting officially started her freshman year of high school, and was originally used as a type of therapy. Once she started sharing her pieces with her peers, she realized that people were connecting to the songs as well. Since then, she has released 3 CDs, performed at different venues in Boston, New York, and Nashville, was a runner up in Open Mixfest 2013, played on multiple Boston radio stations, and has much more exciting news coming up!
Cormack's genre is a mixture of jazz, soul, rock, and pop. She is often compared to the soundings of Sara Bareilles, Colbie Collait, and Ingrid Michaelson. When performing, she lights up the stage with her laid back charm, sassy humor, and her incredible vocals. Her most recent project, Acoustic on the Porch, is a YouTube series of live covers and originals, delivered from her new porch in Nashville. The idea behind the series is to bring the focus of music back to non-tampered with talent, complete with "...background noise and musical imperfections." As she continues these acoustic sessions, she is working on her next big steps in her music career with a few other projects. Stay posted.
